    July 3rd
LivePerson, Inc.'s real-time communications solutions will add a Java-based version to its product line, giving Mac, Linux, Unix, and Network Stations a new level of live customer care functionality. The Java-based version of the software merges the benefits of a robust and easy to use interface with full cross platform portability. The support of Java platforms in a seamless manner serves to further expand the LivePerson client base.

"The addition of a Java client represents a significant leap forward for the LivePerson application and opens several new markets for us," said Robert LoCascio, CEO of LivePerson. "We are always searching for new ways to support and serve our customers. Making LivePerson even more user friendly is a top priority."

LivePerson solutions come in the form of Pro, Corporate, and Exchange, with varying levels of real-time customer service. The Web-based applications can quickly enable e-businesses to service customers with live chat, FAQ, e-mail, and document management capability through quickly deployed solutions that increase sales and responsiveness to customer needs.
